TWNAF Australia commenced in 2015 under the coordination of Andrew & Fiona Houghton in Brisbane. In October 2019, we had our first Master Mentor Training with Cassie & Jenny in Melbourne. Since then, TWNAF has spread across different cities such as Perth, Melbourne & Adelaide and continue to grow across other cities, with a number of smaller online events taking place since the start of COVID.

TWNAF Australia operates mainly in teams with individual trainers in each of the four major State capital cities. Our Brisbane (QLD) is headed up by Fiona Hougthon and Robert Chu, Delain and Petra Gunewardena lead the Melbourne (VIC) team, while Dawie Van Vuuren heads up the Adelaide (SA) team and Darren and Carolyn Gibbon lead the Perth (WA) team.

We partner with a number of local churches and other NPOs where the opportunities present. We also operate independently and run programs based on a general community need. In Brisbane, Fiona (one of the original founders of TWNAF Australia) also partners with Simply Mobilising (the Kairos missions training) and Flourish (a worldwide women’s training organisation).

If there is no information above or the information is out of date and you can help us update it, please contact us using the form below.
Your suggestions will go to our team, who will add it to the page if it helps us tell the story of TWNAF in Australia.

The best place to start is by contacting your country coordinator(s), Delain Gunewardena. If you don’t have a country coordinator yet, get in touch with our global office: and we’ll help you get connected with someone near you.

If you want to get trained, ask your country coordinator about a Dads Talk training near you. Another great way to discover the movement is by meeting up with a local TWNAF trainer and getting to know more about us from someone who has already been impacted by the movement. Ask your country coordinator or our global office to find out more!
