The first trainings were in 2013, presented in small groups at home.

The TWNAF Egypt team started to develop practical experiences with fathers and their children aging 7-16, where fathers get to practice fathering skills and build a close relationship with their children. These practical experiences were offered as 3-day camps, which helped the fathers engage with their children emotionally as well. The focus of these camps are on the roles a father should play, and help educate the fathers about the positive impact they can have on their children.

More than 10000 men have been trained at these camps, including fathers from Jordan, UAE and also Syrian refugees along with the Egyptians. They have also conducted several seminars in multinational companies, schools and foundations, training fathers and mothers to develop healthy environments in their families. They also shared their mission and goals on national TV programs and several satellite channels.

Our vision is that every child grows up with a mature, selfless, available, accountable and devoted father.

The best place to start is by contacting your country coordinator(s), Bassem Abdel Malek. If you don’t have a country coordinator yet, get in touch with our global office: and we’ll help you get connected with someone near you.

If you want to get trained, ask your country coordinator about a Dads Talk training near you. Another great way to discover the movement is by meeting up with a local TWNAF trainer and getting to know more about us from someone who has already been impacted by the movement. Ask your country coordinator or our global office to find out more!
