The first training was held in July 2017. Around 2200 people attended the training, representing all 22 regions of Madagascar. A Mother Design training was held parallel to the Master Mentor training. Training materials were developed for and from the inaugural training which will be used in future trainings.

A core team of leaders is managing the whole nation, and supported by an independent association called Develop Madagascar Association (DMA). TWNAF in Madagascar works as a community-based movement.

TWNAF Madagascar mainly partners with churches, but we are also looking to partner with the local authorities to be able to reach out to couples who are in the process of getting married for them to benefit from the father and mother training before stepping into marriage. We then want to focus on corporations, mens associations, sports clubs, and more.

The first training of fathers lead by Fidy will be on the 28-29th of July 2023 in the capital city, Antananarivo. Every man, married or unmarried is welcome to join.

The best place to start is by contacting your country coordinator(s), Fidy Ratolojanahary. If you don’t have a country coordinator yet, get in touch with our global office: and we’ll help you get connected with someone near you.

If you want to get trained, ask your country coordinator about a Dads Talk training near you. Another great way to discover the movement is by meeting up with a local TWNAF trainer and getting to know more about us from someone who has already been impacted by the movement. Ask your country coordinator or our global office to find out more!
